The Gods Who Created Chinese Astrology

Here's the story of the Chinese Heavenly god and the Chinese Earthly god, the ones who are responsible for the creation of Chinese Astrology along with the Chinese calendar system.

The Chinese Heavenly God

The Chinese heavenly god is the Emperor of our galaxy according to the Chinese culture. He replies to the names Jade, Tien Kung, Yu Huang and Tian Gong. I will call him Jade for simplicity purposes. Jade has a male nature and is the supreme emperor of all the gods and deities of the Chinese culture. This is his story.

Jade started with the creation of the galaxy by bringing order, balance and harmony to the cosmos. He spent over 1 billion years trying to achieve the ultimate state of Godliness, Holliness and Illumination. It is said by Chinese astrologers that each emperor of China was in fact a manifestation of Jade, the Chinese heavenly God. It is said that the emperor has more than 100 billion servants in the form of spirits to attend him and serve him. Many of his servants are here on earth guiding people and accomplishing the emperor's will.

At the end of each Chinese calendar year, his top dukes and ministers are reporting to Jade everything that happened on earth and the galaxy during the year. Then Jade is taking action according to the reports.

His palace is in the heavens and it is made out of pure gold, that is why many Chinese people call him "The Emperor of the heavenly golden palace".

Jade was once challenged by Sun Hou, a lesser Chinese god who thought he was equal to Jade and wanted to take control of the galaxy. It was the time of the universal war of gods. Jade proved his superiority over any other god or deity by beating Sun Hou with his supreme armies. Sun Hou was then exiled to earth and he is considered until now a lesser god. To monk Sun Hou, Jade gave him the name "The Monkey god".

Jade is still ruling the heavens and the earth nowdays with the help of the Chinese earthly god and thousands of lesser gods. When Jade decided to create Chinese Astrology he first created the Yin and Yang symbol, the eternal symbol of universal balance. Then he started working on the Chinese Horoscope cycle. He magically implemented the qualities of the five universal elements into Chinese Astrology.

The Chinese Earthly God

The Chinese earth god is the supreme deity that rules the earth the oceans and everything else on earth, everything that is represented in the physical realm. This god has a female nature. She replies to the names Guan, Kwan Yin or Chuan Yin. I will call her Guan for simplicity purposes.

Guan started as a human like most of the supreme Chinese gods. Her compassion, attitude and her wild heart lead her to become one of the most powerful deities. She always supported the weak and those who suffer. She attended anyone who would summon her for a good purpose and she would never ask for a sacrifice or a gift.

Guan was to become a goddess of heaven because she achieved all states of immortality and enlightenment very quickly. But just when she was invited to move to the heavens, Guan heard the cries of the people of earth calling her and begging her to stay. That is why she decided to stay on earth to protect humanity.

Guan then promised never to rest until all human souls realize their purpose and reach true wisdom and divinity. Chinese legends claim that in order to help all people on earth she divided her soul into millions of parts which where spread across the globe.

Guan has the ability to transform into any living creature of earth, she can also bless the ground to produce food. She is also known until today for her ability to give ofsprings to those who can't have children.

Guan was called by Jade, the Chinese Heavenly god, to help him create Chinese Astrology and the Chinese calendar system. She was the one who figured out how to select the twelve most suitable animals to become the twelve Chinese horoscope signs. She was the one who conducted the race between all the animals that inhabited the earth.
