This website was created having usability and download speed in mind. The goal is to offer free information and a unique user experience to website visitors. Valid XHTML and Valid CSS technology is used. It will only take five minutes to read the entire article carefully. You will then be able to get the most out of chineseastrologer.org. Website Text and Colors
I am using three colors for the website text:
- All headers are colored black.
- General text is also colored black.
- General Links are colored red. General links are links pointing to other pages of the website or external pages.
- Secondary links are colored purple. Secondary links are links pointing to sections of the same page.
- Both General and Secondary links have a yellow background when you hover your mouse over them.

Here is some General text and some general emphasizing text in bold.
Here is a General link pointing to a page different than this one. In this example the link points to the home page.
Here is a Secondary link pointing to a section of this page. In this example it points to the bottom of this page
Website Menus
Whenever you want to navigate to the home page you can click the "Chinese Astrology - Chinese Horoscope" link located in the top left corner of every page:

The main website menu is located on the left side. This menu is vertical and it is divided into five sections:

General Chinese Astrology
In the "General Chinese Astrology" section you can find Chinese Astrology related articles and information. For example you can learn about the twelve Chinese horoscope signs or read the introduction to Chinese astrology article. All the information in this section is copyrighted material but you can share or adapt it under the Creative Commons License:
Chinese Horoscope Protection Shield
In this section you can learn about the Chinese horoscope protection shield. The information found here is unique and it cannot be found anywhere else on the web. Website Tools and Information
In the Website Information and Tools you can extend the usability of this website. For example if you are a webmaster or you have a webpage, blog, myspace profile etc. you can find ways to link to chineseastrologer.org using ready to copy html code or selecting any of the advertising banners hosted on my server. Just click the "Link To This Website" link and choose the desired way to link back.
If you want to send / recommend any of the website pages to a friend of yours, it's easier than ever. Navigate to the desired page and then click the "Send This Page To A Friend" link. From there all you have to do is fill your name, e-mail and friend's e-mail and click the button.
Another nice feature is the Printer Friendly Version support. If you found an article or a page you want to print then click the "Printer Friendly Version Of This Page" link. A new window will open. The printer friendly page will contain the main text and/or images. It will not contain the menus and the rest of the website data that shouldn't be printed. Note that not all website pages can have a printer friendly version. To try this feature now click here to view the printer friendly version of this page.
If you want to add any page of the website to your favorites then navigate to the desired page and click the "Add This Page To Your Favorites" link. If you use Internet Explorer then the Add To Favorites window will automatically pop up. If you use a different browser like Mozilla Firefox, a message with bookmarking instructions will appear.
You can make chineseastrologer.org your home page very easily using the related link in the "website Information and Tools" section.
If you want to contact me you can use the "Contact Chinese Astrologer" link. The default e-mail program installed on your computer will open up. Alternatively you can e-mail me anytime at: duan@chineseastrologer.org. I reply to every serious e-mail I receive.
Another nice feature is the social bookmarking feature. This is for all those web2.0 internet fans who want to bookmark any of the website pages to the various social bookmarking services like Digg.com or Technorati. Click on the "Easy Social Bookmarking" link. A window will pop up containing the most popular bookmarking services. Choose the desired service and start bookmarking.

Chinese Astrology Animals
The secondary menu which is horizontal is usually located in the top of the pages. This menu contains the twelve links for the twelve Chinese Astrology Animals:
Clicking on any of the twelve animals will open up a page containing various information about that animal.

This Website contains a lot of images. I have created enlarged versions for most of the images. To view the enlarged version simply click on the image. For example you can visit the "Chinese Astrology And Ancient Symbols" page which contains various images. To view enlarged versions of the symbols simply click on the images. I usually mention when you can click on an image to view the enlarged version using a statement like the following:
